can i add stock fog lights without the software and use the oem switch?

im sorry it is a 98 i was wondering if i could use the factory wiring and bypass the software

98's don't need software.
But they will need atleast 1 maybe 2 relays.

where would i find the location of the relays and are you sure i dont need software i called the dealership and they said it will need it.

On a 98 you will not need it.

The relay and jumper goes under the dash on the drivers side.
You will need a headlight relay for a car with foglights as well.
