I have a Volvo S70 T5 and it has a bad fuel pump Im trying replace it but there's this black ring around the housing hold it in place that i cant get off to get the housing and pump out of the tank. Anyone know how Im supposed to take this off or replace the whole fuel pump in general.

A special tool, but you can probably use a hammer and screwdriver if your careful.
