Remove the plastic tab? Those are what holds the dash board in - you get to the bolts that screw into them under the plastic cowl.

I ordered a dash off Ebay for my s70 and the tabs on the dash don't align with car. Maybe it is from a c70. Anways only way to align the dash is to remove the plastic piece holding the tabs and re drill from the inside of the car having the plastic tabs in place. Any better solutions guys..greatly appreciate it.

Can you return the dash you ordered, explaining the problem? Otherwise I don't really know a simple solution except what you proposed....redrilling.

It's a bit too late to return the dashboard. I can't figure out how to remove the plastic tab holder. I found two screws on either side holding the sides down. Is the rest of it glued down. Could you please send some pictures as to where these screws are. Cheers

Sorry, I have no pictures but I would asume that if there are no screws holding it down, then it has got to be two pieces glued together, or one whole molded piece. You could always try carefully cutting it apart with a small cutting tool, then screw or glue it back in place when you are finished
