Default wastegate adjustment.

can anyone tell me how to adjust the wastegate on my turbocharger so as to increase the boost?

1. Don't do it.

2. Yes people have done this and it has worked. However it can cause problems down the road.

3. If you really have to do something to increase boost then try a MBC which may or may not work since you have the ME7 system and or get an ECU upgrade.

But never ever adjust the wastegate arm.

alright. i was merely asking for educational purposes. my s70 has to get me where i need to go, and i want to have no problems with it, and that is why, even though i would really like to, i dont increase the strain on the engine or transmission through perfomance mods. thank you for answering though s70driver.

IPD's youtube how to on setting your wastegate. Different years use different PSI as a set point so don't use the 4psi shown unless you've confirmed it's the correct set point.
