this is for an 98 s70 T5m

What is the best vacuum line to use? Any pictures of the line and where its located would be great! Also Will a 7/32 hose for the vacuum line work ok? I bought 6 feet worth, do you think thats long enough?

And this picture below is this the correct way to do the install?

98's should have a vacuum tree under the throttle body cover where you could take one of the NIPPLES off and hook the vacuum line right to there without doing a T fitting.

really? anyone have a picture of this. It would greatly help. also I bought a 2 5/8 boost/vac gauge without relizing it wasnt a standard size. Will the guage pod from gaugepods.com work ok? Can I just make the holder a little bit hidder to have the gauge it in?

oops, i started a new thread before i read this about the same issue.

i did the same thing routed the guage to the vaccum tree.

the only prob that i have is that i put a turbosmart mbc in and set it to about 11 or 12 lbs. and when i went to set it from closed i was still making like 5lbs. and sometimes on a cold cold night if i floor it it will jump to around 14.5lbs and cut fuel and i get a cylinder 4 misfire. any advice?

where is this vacuum tree located again? and what exactly is its purpose?

the vacuum tree is right under the throttle cover. its a black plastic piece that has one T-25 torx screw on to. remove that. Then right underneath that is the vacuum tree. It has two rubber nipples facing towards the back of the engine. Remove one and but your vaccuum line into their. Then run your line to your boost gauge.
