Mbc Install?
I just wanted to know if anyone had any pointers to installing a Mbc. I have never done it and dont want to mess things up.
Other thing is I want to clear this code before I do it. Its a P0172(Running Rich Fuel?). What can fix this problem? Thanks in advanced! |
By the way i have a 1998 s70 glt.

You need to connect it inline between the compressor hose and the waste gate.
You still need to leave the stock one somewhat setup so it doesn't set codes for it. That code means there might be a vacuum leak. |
The code is running p0172 and p0108. Does this mean the MAF is bad. I cleaned it but it still comes up.

If you have no vacuum leaks at all then the MAF might be bad.
Check every hose good for a leak. |
What is the easiest way to check all hoses?
I am think about replacing all the lines. I found the guide that is on here. How hard of a job is it? I do things such as tune ups and brake etc..do you think I can do vacuum lines? |
You can try spraying carb or brake cleaner over the hoses with the car running and if the idle changes there is a leak.
Or look them over good espically the one on the end of the intake behind the power steering pump if you have one. Or add pressure to the system and listen for leaks. But only minor pressure is required. |
