Hi on a long trip the v70 wagon turbo had started to die at idle and lack power when i hit the gas, i unplugged the maf after a day of that and it ran ok but less power, ive replaced the maf last year and still have loss of power and very poor acceleration esp. Uphill wich sucks because i live on a mtn. well ive bn driving all summer like granny im ready to figure it out
Check engine light comes on occassionaly
I do have an oil leak and clicking uv joint
Havent pulled codes yet not sure how but i feel like its def maf related since pulling it fixed the stumbling its just still stuck like there is no maf is there a relay i can replace? also i have zero tools here and will be buying what i need beyond a simple ratchet set

 

On the turbo, it's a very long way from the MAF to the throttle. I think I would suspect a leak in all that plumbing in that situation.
