Default Removing a dent from my driver side door???

I have a football sized dent in my door, and I am wondering if I can remove the door panel and pound it out? Any suggestions or advice?

I am looking around for a new door, but in the meantime...

Do a search for paintless dent removal videos. Watch a few on how they do it, improvise some tools and give it a try. I have and my results weren't great but I learned something and the car looks better than it did. My advise is to make sure you have a firm rubber(flexible) rounded pushing surface. hard surfaces will crack the paint and make ridges.

In the meantime, Paintless dent removal technique helps you alot. you should visit to a good auto body shop. I suggest you a best auto body shop i.e. Reutimann Collision Repair. They are really helpful. Reutimann Collision Repair also offers a wide range of auto body services including collision repair, car painting, body work, dent removal, scratch removal, custom painting, vehicle towing and all the other kinds of damage repair services that your car may need.

The thread is 3 years old. It's probably been fixed by now.

I feel for you. These cars have thick body panels so they don't flex well. I tried to lessen a dent in the front fender to replace a broken turn signal. I was able to move it enough get the light on but it was clear I was not going to get it fixed without taking the fender off, and even then I don't think it would fix itself.

The problenm with fixing a door is you almost always have to gut the inside to fix it right (depending on the size/location of the dent, If you replace the door, you have to deal with alignment and the hinges.
