Replaced MAF and now car won't start
It was suggested I replace the MAF in my '98 S70 2.3 L turbo which I did. Car always started fine before the MAF was replaced it just had typical MAF issues with stalling etc. Anyway, now it won't start after replacing the MAF. We had the battery unplugged for at least ten minutes to reset the codes before attempting start up. Tried unplugging the sensor after to see if that worked, it didn't. Tried jumper cables, no luck. What's next?

'Tried jumper cables" - did the starter not spin the engine over? or over fast enough because it is too weak? That would be the only reason to "try jumper cables"
If the engine is spinning over, the next step would be to check codes, check spark at the coil, check spark at a plug, check injector pulse, check fuel pressure - basics like that.

A quick way to tell if it is a fuel or spark issue when a car won't start is to try this trick. Spray a 2 second burst of starting fluid into the throttle body intake (on the 98 Turbo the easiest way to do it is on the intake hose after the MAF) and try to start the car. If it starts and runs for a couple seconds, then you have good spark and most likely a fuel delivery issue. If it does not start, then it is a spark issue.
