Replacing the light switch...how to ...?
 

Hi again.

can a good soul tell me the right way to replace the light switch on my Volvo S70 1998 ? I just notice tonight that the switch is playing tricks on my. it goes on and off on its own...

I hope I do not have to remove some of the dash please ...?

Pull on the dimmer just to the right of the switch. You can use a flat tip screw driver to get it started and wiggle it out. Once it's out put a finger or 2 through that hole and reach behind the light switch and push it out. Push hard, it will pop out and then pull on it and the wire plug will pop off.

I did that . worked like a charme.

I just found out it's part or a recall, so they will change it for free
