Sport economy and winter
Winter start the car off in 3rd gear for winter conditions.
Sport shifts quicker

Economy, which is the E will get you slightly better gas mileage. But then a lighter foot will do the same thing.

Not that I would ever argue with you, but doesnt Sport make the car shift in the 5-6k rpm range, making it shift later? rather than quicker? My "E" mode shifts in the 2-3k rpm range.

I think Tech meant that the engagements are quicker between shifts. Its a firmer shift with less slippage. But yeah, what you said is correct too.

question, if I drive more sport like, would putting the car into sport mode save gas at all? I figured not since higher rpms usually means more burned gas.

Kinda hard to have a light foot when it takes a fair amount to get the car rolling. If I drive with a light foot the car takes forever to get up to 30.

To add a little to this.

Im from michigan and we got hit with about a foot of snow yesturday morning. I put the "W" winter mode on. Its awesome in the snow. didnt get stuck at all and keeps the car from spinning the tired too much.

Just a quick fyi
