S70 sway bar link

OK, here goes...
I am replacing the rear sway bar links on my 2000 s70 2wd. I got to the point where the sway bar was disconnected from the body mounting stud and the nut was off the inner mount bolt that secures the link where it slides inside the sway bar. From that point just tap the bolt out, remove the old link, insert the new and voila. The bolt will not come out! it appears that this is a pressed in stud type bolt but I could not break it loose at all...heat, pounding, etc.
My fear now is that the sway bar will have to be removed entirely in order to deal with this link bolt situation.
Does anybody have any thoughts on this? The car has 190,000 and I was really hoping to get another 2 years out of it.
Any ideas???

I have not started on this job yet, but was preparing for it yesterday. What I have read says that the bolt is in fact pressed in and has a serrated upper end for "bite". The shop manual says use a "soft faced hammer" to remove it.

So anyway I think you are correct. It is removable, but you need more force. One guy who wrote it up mentioned that he had to block the axle against the underside of the car so that it would not be able to move when he hit it.
