Service light always on?
 

every time i turn on my car the service light stays on for 2-3 minutes..
does anyone know why it stays on or has anybody had the same problem?
its a 1998 volvo s70 NA 135600 miles

The service reminder light will come on for several minutes after starting the car every 5K miles and unfortunately only a dealer can reset it on the 98 and earlier 850 models. On the 99 and newer S70/V70 you could reset the light yourself. Since the light goes out by itself it's an annoyance at most. The next time you bring the car in for service have them reset the light for you....
