Default SRS light - How to reset?

I worked on the dash and subsquently remove the passenger air bag connector. I had to run an errand in between the work and the SRS light went off, as it should, since I did not have the power connector to the unit on. Later after working on the dash, the SRS light still is staying on although I'm abosoulety sure I connected it back on properly. I tried disconnecting the battery for an hour and wiiggled the connector to make sure it is plugged on properly. To no avail, the SRS light is still on. How do you go about resetting the SRS light?

Thank you in advance for your any assistance!

You will have to find someone that has a scanner that reads SRS codes and clears them.

Is the SRS scanner code different from the OBDII engine light scanner code reader?

You have to look closely at the scanner and the papers.Alot of the ones sold will only do check engine lights.
Some will do transmission codes as well.
Most of the time you will have to spend quite a bit of money to get one that does everything.
