TCV/CPU wiring - check engine light

I have had this issue for a few months now, i have 2 codes that i am getting which are the following.

P0237 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor 'A' Circuit Low
OBDII Code P0237 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor 'A' Circuit Low | Nissanhelp.com
&
P0236 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance
OBDII Code P0236 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance | Nissanhelp.com

I have replaced my TCV and the codes are still showing, I took it to my local Volvo mechanic and he said since i replaced the TCV he thought it was a part of the wire harness that is faulty which is why when i clear the code it immediately shows and never clears from the car, and he said it could be anywhere from $100 - $1,000 to find the faulty part of the wiring and fix it...

So my questions are-

- Could that be the correct issue with my car and if so, is that about the correct price to find the right issue with the car and fix it?

- Seeing as though the codes are pertaining to the TCV it would have to be the wires going/coming from that right?

I have to get my car smogged for my tags so its kinda urgent that i solve this problem soon unfortunately.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If it is that wire that is faulty, would there be a way to go into the ecu and just take that wire off and run a whole new wire to the TCV or is that not even how it works? :/

I have heard/read several complaints about that part and code. Did you install an OEM TCV? After the part is installed most say it takes as many as 400 miles for the car to let the code clear. :-/

I took off my original TCV because i was getting a code and put on IPD's HD-TCV and then the codes cleared.. then i got the code sometime later and now i put back on my old TCV that was defective.. i may try and put on my dad's S70 GLT TCV and see if that does anything..

Only reason i think it is electrical is because when i clear the code, it immediately returns before i even start the car. So i would think the electrical is tripping it rather than the TCV itself.. hope not.

I unplugged the MAP sensor and the "p0237" code went away and "p0238" came up, so this problem i'm having would have to be with the MAP sensor correct?...

Thank you RSPI for your help! it was the MAP sensor that was bad! replaced it and all problems went away
