Thump when tight turn

Thump when tight turn
I've searched and searched but can't find anything similar to what I've been experiencing lately. '98 S70 approx 120k mi. When turning the wheel tightly (backing out of parking space typically), left or right doesn't matter, the car actually lifts as though running over a series of high speed bumps or something similar. If the wheel is turned to the left, then the clunk and lift comes from the front right corner. If turned to the right then comes from the front left corner. Driving is perfect. Wider turns, such as just turning at a stop sign is also no problems. It only happens in very tight turns. Any ideas or suggestions?

RE: Thump when tight turn
Have the struts ever been replaced on your vehicle? How do the CV joints look? Could also be a broken motor mount causing thump. R U working to repair your self? If so, I would recommend lifting vehicle safely, get under and just take a real good look around. Mainly suspension and steering components. If I can think of anything else I will post.
