V70 blowing fuses

Hi ya,
My problem concerns 2 specific fuses, Fuse number 5[15 amp diagnostics socket fuse] in the general fuse box and a unknown 15 amp fuse in the main relay fuse box.
I have the following fault codes:
[1] Exhaust gas recirculation, faulty signal 001E
[2] Glow plug relay signal 0017
[3] Turbo control valve faulty signal 001D
[4] Auxilliary heater 2 faulty signal 0024
Progress so far: unseated lubed and remade connections on the above components, fitted new glow plugs, apart from the aux heater have removed and tested by plugging back in individually the components what causes the two fuses to blow is the glow plug relay. Had relay checked by local auto electrician and he says its working fine[it was checked while hot]
what should I be doing next? [also SRS light is on]
Where I am coming from with this is there must be plenty of 2000 year model V70s who have had wiring loom faults who know where they are most likely located, for instance there was an excellent post a while back for the boot lock not working which indicated not only the wire to look for but where it would be broken, that's the kind of pointer I am looking for thanks
Smokey [and for our American cousins I am not a policeman]
