Vibrations at 65mph

Hey all, have anissue with my 2000 s70 wondering if anyone has some input. At about 63-65mph the steering wheel starts to noticeably vibrate and shake. I thought it might be related to the transmission but there is no 'slipping' of the gears, thought it might be the alignment or balance but got that taken care of and the vibration is still there. Any thoughts?

Tie rods?

Atire could be 'out of round'. It would give the same sensation that an out of balance wheel gives and cant be fixed by simply balancing them. I'm not sure of any particular ways of spotting it other than possibly jacking up the car and rotating thewheel while looking (very closely) for any mis-shapened spots. That is my guess.

does it continue to shake or only from 63-65? If it continues check the engine mounts and upper engine stabilizer mount

Those who did the alignment would have noticed bad tie rods, and should have seen an out of round tire. Does the vibration lessen while accellerating or steering one way or another?

Vibration disappears below 63. Tech drove it and couldn't find a problem. Just had a new upper motor mount and power steering line installed, didn't fix the vibration.
Does not have anything to do with turning, braking. just magically starts between 63-65 mph.

I had almost same problem, mine turned out to be the rim, pass side front was crapped out. Cheap ace volvo rim.
