Volvo chips

I'm lookin for a chip to put in my 98 s70. I'm not to knowledgable about the chips so if anyone has any pointers as to what kind would be the best and how much i'm looking at cost wise.

Are the factory ECUs in the S70 Eproms? I have a friend that reprograms ECUs for several different makes, if it's an eprom I might pick up another ECU at a junkyard or someplace for him to play with (increase boost, fuel injector duty cycle, timing advance, 2step etc)

I think I know what you mean by e-proms removable chips?The Volvo computer is one big computer Im not aware of an e-prom on the computer.

SpeedTuning USA
IPD

I have a SpeedTuning chip and I love it. Also they are the lowest cost ones. RICA and IPD are very exspensive.
