Hello all,just bought 98 volvo s-70 drivers side auto seat will not move is there any kind of by pass or quick fix to enable seat to move until can get to a mechanic?

Does it twitch? Is the motors trying to kick in? Is the fuse blown?

Mine does the same thing sometimes, and if I help it along with a push or shove, it will most of the time start moving.
