Volvo S70 2.3 5sp 141k Front Driver Wheel noise
I have a 1999 Volvo S70 2.3 5sp with 141K that is starting to have some Grinding Noise From the front wheel.
It is Braking Related but the Brakes are Newer but not the issues. The Wheel Bearings seams to be in good shape and no play with wheels or front-end parts.
When I had this checked, I know there was a check Engine light (need to get cam solenoid replaced), but they told me there was a ABS code as well.
Could the Grinding Noise be coming from the ABS sensor in the from wheel?

Check to make sure that the long bolt that holds the axle against the hub is tight. I've seen these work loose and the tone ring is no longer lined up with the sensor.
In an extreme case, you can end up rounding out the splines on the axles if they come out too far.
I've also seen brake pads installed backwards where the metal part is against the rotor.
See if the dust/water shield is bent and touching the rotor.
