Yet another ABS question
Noticed ABS light was on intermittantly (no other symptoms or lights) after blowing the oil cooler line in January. The Abs unit was replaced in '06 and the wheel sensors all read 114x ohms. Ideas please.

By ABS unit i assume you mean the ABS control unit? Who rebuilt it, or was it new?

put a think piece of plastic or wood between the black plastic part and the silver part on the abs it should turn off the light and the abs will still work

The unit was new. Looking back at my records, it was replaced in '06. Am I wrong in thinking that replacement units were soldered together better? I know I read that somewhere years ago.....well, I think I did.
Tried the plastic wedge trick. Thought it worked for a few days, but the light came back on. It has since been doing that - on for a few days, off for a few days. |
Matt will hook you up with an ABS module, lifetime warranty
