05 S80 front strut problems
 

Hello everyone, I have an 05 S80. She is a soldier at 320,000 miles. However I have heard different theories on the failure of the car I have. They used the front end design from a smaller, lighter car and the S80 is much heavier. I have lifetime struts, went ahead and bought whole assembly. About 6 months after I bought the car from my aunt who kept it well maintained I had the strut come through the hood. Or the bolt rather. My question is do I need to just buy an after market spring seat, or if I buy the Kyb complete strut assembly should I still upgrade any of the upper parts of the strut? They go bad within a month. Now I have went ahead and changed everything under the car and just want a quiet ride. Any info on what to do would be vert apprec
