120K Mile Service?
 

hello,

This is about my 99 S80 2.9. I got a letter from my Volvo dealership that I may be due for the 120K mile service. Well the car has 128K miles right now (Mostly Highway as I commute from Chicago to Columbus Ohio a few times a Month.) I will be taking a visit to the Volvo dealership this Saterday for an oil change, so can I get some advise on the things that need to be replacedor serviced on my car which isnow has close to130k miles. The ETM was replaced at 80K miles in October of 05 and the Transmission was replaced last May. Also at how many miles does the fuel fillter need to be replaced and the coolant flushed. I bought the car in 2005 with 80K miles and now almost put close to 50K miles on it and I have no idea if the coolant has been flushed or if the fuel filter has been replaced by the past owner.

seems to me your car is giving you good service, let the dealer tell you what the 120,000 mile service includes, ask about any promotions, coupons, or discounts ,specials etc, it doesnt hurt to ask, as far as the coolant and fuel filter, get it done if your not sure when it was replaced, anyway sounds like the car is taking care of you, take care of it as well.
