Default 1998 Volvo S80 T6 Side Mirrors Non-Operational

My 1998 S80 T6 side mirrors no longer adjust. They used to work. The green light used to come up but no more. All other buttons work except for the side mirrors, making me think it's the fuse that has blown. Does anyone know which fuse this is, I can't find it on the car or in the manual to see which one to check and replace?

Neither side works?
Did you try to listen and see if you hear a motor moving but just not the glass?

Neither side works at all. They used to work. A few months back it was intermittent, the light on the door panel would be on and I could adjust the mirror. Come back later and couldn't adjust them again. The mirrors themselves I believe are still working, but it just appears as though the switch may have failed.

I should also mention that the fold-in functions for the mirrors have died and have only worked on the passenger side when I got the car but not have stopped working. I am wondering if this may be a fuse or possibly a connection issue? The rest of the switch works fine (i.e. lock doors, windows, etc. etc.

It might be something in the Drivers door module.(Window switch assembly)

The window switch is actually a module.

So is the window switch assembly a module itself. Is it easy to repair / replace if it is defective? Does anyone have a picture of what this actual assembly itself looks like?

Once you put one in the Dealer really needs to load software to make it work. Some have been able to install a used one and have it work. But it is really supposed to have software.

You have got to be kidding me [:@]. The one thing I have always hated about this car is the fact that you can't replace anything without it having to have a damn software download. I am glad I am selling this car.It was a good innovation (maybe) to have a networked car, but when it gets to simple things like this, you have got to be joking. Stuff it the mirrors are where they are supposed to be, so I won't bother changing them.

Would this still apply though if it is just an electric mirror? Mine doesn't have any memory functions to adjust the mirrors at all. It is just an electric mirror that cabe adjusted.

If it is only the mirror motors then nothing needs to be done. But if the window switch setup is bad then yes it needs software.
