2000 S80 2.9 Problems
 

I’m trying to get my new to me Volvo on the road before winter hits (New England for you) because I need to get my Subie off the road. My S80 runs but after about 30 minutes it dies. The next day I can start it back up but it continues to die. The check engine and ABS light are on and I scanned it and got codes P0602 and P1618. Upon scanning it and try to erase codes the RPMS went up and down and lights got dim and then bright and back and forth. My volt meter on the battery while running says 14.2 and while it is off it’s 11.8. I was told the computer had issues but I’m praying it’s something else please help thank you

you can easly pull a computer from a local yard for this car, pretty common. then clear the main computer then the individuals and it should link right up. i dont think these years need to be programmed in.
