Unknown Button (To me at least)

I am sure that this has been answered before but what is this button? In the owner's manual I have, it is not shown and I cannot find any info on it.

Temporarily disables the interior motion sensor of the alarm system. If you disable it, it will be enabled again automatically if the alarm is disarmed and rearmed.
