Default Multiple Emissions Codes

Hi all, just joined so that I can share my experiences solving the problems I have with my new (to me) '00 S80 T6. I have a check engine light on, and the emissions service required message right now. The car is running pretty good, but there is some intermittent loss of power when accelerating or climbing a hill at highway speeds. It kind of cuts out for a second or so and then its fine, but will do it again intermittently.

I read the codes and came up with these:

P1132 - Fuel/Air Metering
P1171 - Rotor Sensor?
P0237 - Turbo Sensor low input
P0236 - Turbo Sensor range
P0306 - Cyl 6 misfire

I have been reading up on all of these codes, so I am going to be looking first for any vacuum leaks. I'll probably clean the MAF and MAP, and then decide where to go from there.

On the misfire, I am going to swap the coil on #6 cylinder and see if the fault moves.

I am not sure if all of these are connected to one problem, or if I have multiple issues here.

Please let me know what you think, and I'll keep plodding along and provide updates on my progress. Thanks!

So far I've checked for vacuum leaks and found one. The hose coming out of the air intake, right after the MAF was cracked and the clamp has not installed. For now, I taped that hose and clamped it while I figure out what else is going on.

I've tried to erase the codes, and most of them are gone. I am getting the P0237 sometimes, and then both the P0237 and P0236 at times. Seems like it is performing better, but it still seems like the accelerator is a little touchy or it accelerates more than it should at times.

So far the misfire code has not returned.

I am wondering why I can't get the CEL to go off for even a second. I erase the codes, and when I start the car again, the CEL is lit up and stays lit up. Seems like it should go away for at least a few seconds/minutes until it has enough time to detect a failure.

Let me know what you think.

Back at it....
