2001 S80 Dashboard Defroster Vents
 

My 2001 S80 dashboard defroster vents have cracked to the point that they have totally fallen off. My local dealer wants ~$2,000 to replace the entire dashboard and states that there are no replacement parts.

Are replacement 'inserts' available? If anyone else has had this problem and found a way to fix it, please let me know. Thanks.

Defrost vents?u mean the vents that blows AC or heat ..right?if so then damnn 2000 bucks?well can't u just remove the old one and snap a new ones in place?hmm did u try calling like few other Volvo dealers just to make sure..I had a Ford Taurus and the vent broke too so I called auto salvage and they had a replacement and snap ..was like new...But m hearing 1st time that you have replace the whole dashboard just for broken vents..M sure that should not be the case
