Talking 2001 S80 T6 keyless entry problem

The keyless entry fobs on our 2001 S80 T6 have stopped locking or unlocking the doors suddenly. I changed the batteries in the key fobs, but they still only will unlock the trunk, and activate the interior lights when unlocking, as well as turn the interior lights off when locking. The panic button also still works fine. The only problem is that they will not lock or unlock the doors.

What now??????

Thanks!!

Default 2001 S80 T6 keyless entry problem

Im new on the forum and i just purchase a 98 lx coupe it has the factory keyless entry. But when i hit the button on the remote the doors dont lock. But when i hit the button to unlock the lights come on and I hear the doors unlocking themselves but they are already unlocked. I was just wondering is there something i can check. Also when i tried to lock the car doors with the button on the door I Pulled the door handle and pressed the button and the driverside door didnt lock. But if i manually push the lock on the doornot the button it locks the passengerside. What should i check first.

Default Also my problem

I had this same problem. Turned out for me the two top buttons had broke loose from the circuit board in the remote. Now I have to get a new remote hence my first of many reasons for joining this forum. State by taking your fob apart as if changing the battery. Don’t be surprised if your buttons are broke. My first step is to check a local PC repair place and see if the owner can solder these back on. If not on to another step. Good luck!
