2001 S80 T6 Siren Module Location?
 

Does anyone know where the siren module is located on the 2001 S80 T6? Are the batteries replaceable? I'm showing the "Alarm System Service Required" message and want to check out the module. Thanks.

It doesn't have any batteries.
It is located in the R/F fender. You would have to remove the inner fender liner to get to it.

OK, thanks. Someone told me it had NiMH batteries in it and someone else said it was in the engine compartment. Lots of misinformation out there. Thanks again.

Sory to say but it needs to be replaced. We replace alot of them.

Is that a plug-and-play replacement I can do myself or do I need a Volvo dealer toload software? Thanks.

No software but it should be recalibrated by Dealer it Indipendant shop. You can install it them have them calibrate.

You wouldn't happen to know what the AC freon pressures are supposed to be, would you?
