2002 S80 Damaged Flywheel
I recently purchase a 2002 S80 with missing teeth on it's flywheel and the previous owner was totally lost for an explanation. The good news is that can crank and start the car 75% of the time. 25% of the other time I have to turn the engine by hand by pulling up on the serpentine belt. Question1: Can anybody tell me how the teeth were damaged? Also, I plan to replace the flywheel. Question 2: Can the flywheel be replaced from under the car, if I can get the transmission out of the way? Question 3: Should I just pull the entire engine/transmission assembly out of the car? Thanks fellow Volvo Followers. |
