2002 S80 Left Headlight lens and Left side marker
I'm on the hunt for one of these after some fool at my apartment complex backed into the front of my Volvo.. i'm yet to figure out who but it cant be too hard considering the vehicle had to be high enough not to hit the bumper also and probably had a towing attachment..
Anyway, the lens is cracked but the lights are fine, I krazy glued the lens to keep it together but its bothering me quite a bit as its the only true aesthetic blemish on the car... Iv been looking around for it and rockauto.com has the genuine lens for 130 and the nordic for about 10 less.. ebay also has generics for about 80... Any reccomendations on when and where I can get this?Regarding the side marker, it doesnt seem to work anymore (not connected to the above incident).. Most markers I'm seeing online are clear and mine are clearly amber/orange coloured.. Usually the ones ive seen sell for between 20 and 30.. however, I dont know if its the entire assembley that needs replacement or just a bulb.... any assistance will be greatly apreciated..Whatever light work I have to do, il just have it done when I install the fog lamps on the S80 (dont come std on the 2.9 model).. do all at once then..Anyway, hope to hear some responses,
ThanksNicolas

If you are refering to the marker light in the bumper, here it is:
http://www.eeuroparts.com/productdet...&code=9498
It is amber and takes a clear marker light bulb.
The corner light is clear with an amber bulb.
I use RockAuto for CHevy parts. eEuro has had better pricing and selection for Volvo parts. The have the headlight for about $90.

Do any of you know what bulb will be required for this? Or better yet where I can find it? I went into advance auto today and I had my volvo booklet with me with the socket info and so on, but none of the bulbs actually have the socket written on the pack...
I guess il have to take it out then figure out which...
I dont want to have to replace the assy unless I need to

I called my local volvo dealer today, and believe this, they quoted me something like 300 dollars to install the new headlamp lens and fog lamps (not counting software update).... that is a serious amount of money so im going to be calling the 1 or 2 volvo shops in tampa to see what they can come back with...
if not, how much would this cost at your place tech, if you dont mind me asking...

The only parts I have are the actual fog lamps and the lens.. I dont have the switch or the relay (if needed) for the fog lamp install..
I honestly didnt expect the dealer to be so expensive, this is my first experience with dealers in the US and im not impressed... could also be because there is one volvo dealer in tampa and they can then dictate prices.. its a monopoly i tell you

Thanks tech, the dealers came up to 320 in just labour alone, and the volvo specialist here in tampa came up with 280, plus he himself is insisting that he carries the car to the dealer for the software update rather than I do it...
I', just considering if i come by your place for this, just letting you do all the work I need done at once.. Basically just a tune up where im providing most if not all of the parts.. Also to take a look at the timing belt and pulleys and so on to figure out if it was ever changed.. I have no idea if it was or wasnt before i bought the car

Ok, so far iv found this, http://catalog.autohausaz.com/autoha...amp;part=Relay
Is this what I will need tech? Regarding the switch, no idea where I can find it but i'm guessing that this is the correct relay? How would I know?
Thanks
