2007 S80 - Reset service reminder

Does anyone know how to reset the service reminder on a 2007 S80? This car doesn't have a standard key. Also, if different, do you know the reset procedure for "service overdue."

For the "key less" cars. Your going to have to go to a local shop with the software or go to the dealership.

It is the same as the old ones. Push in the button in the dim and push the start button once then wait 5 seconds then push and hold it until your lights come on and wait for the "I" to start blinking and let go of the button on the dim. There is no software or special tools needed.

Damm Google search! lol

When I followed the "correct" procedure as described to me when I called Volvo customer service, the display showed "163," a picture of a wrench, and didn't reset. Volvo customer service didn't have information about this message.

Any ideas?

Sometimes it can take up to 20 times before it will reset.

S80 reset procedure (keyless)

I've just reset the warning indicator with one try only :)

2008-2009 Volvos with starter push button on dashboard

The trip odometer must have at least 0.1 mile on it or the light will not reset.
Get in vehicle and do not push down on the brake pedal
Put the key in the slot and push the starter button once
Press and hold down the odometer reset button
While doing this, push the starter button again and hold for 2 seconds
Keep the odometer reset button held in and watch the instrument cluster for the general warning indicator (I) to illuminate. When this happens, release the button.
Turn the vehicle off then back on and verify the message is now out.

I've done this.
Still have "engine system, service required".

Also, now I have to press both the clutch and brake, and hold the start button to start the car. Used to only press the clutch and press the button once.
