99 T6 issuse.
 

I have been dealing with this car for a few years now
I keep getting (ghost messages) as they call them, Transmission Problem or Break Failure Stop ASAP, Air bag issue.I have to unhook the battery every night or two or else it just won't start untill i do.
I've spent over 4 grand replacing almost every computer in it the dealer now says the think its the ECM ($1600.00) BUT NO GUARANTEE as they say.

Has any one ran it to this before?
Will the ECM do the trick?
And can i buy an ECM on line and install it or does it need to be progammed after installation?

Also Does anyone want to buy a Mint brittish racing green T6, works A1 as long as you have the patients of a GOD!! JJ i wouldn't sell this to my worst enemy.

The CEM and ECM are paired and exchange "security" keys with each other. You can't replace either without needing to get both reprogrammed.

Sounds like the Stealership has made another loyal customer. They should change the slogan to "Volvo, never again in my life."

They may have gained from me in the short term but I will NEVER buy another volvo in my life.
I can't even tell you how many people i have turned off of them
every time i get a comment on how nice the car is, before they even get it out of there mouth i'm shooting it down.

I have replaced the CEM, Transmission control module and brake module.
They tell me it could only be the ECM that is left.
But i just have a hard time dishing out the cash after all of that especially when there sentece always ends with BUT NO GUARANTEEEEEES!

Although right on there official website it states 100% satesfaction guaranteed

I'm not satesfied with the problem not being fixed time after time.
and none of there so called factory trained technicians really knowing whats going on.

That's why I avoid dealers like the plague. So far they haven't touch my S80. Hope to keep it that way too. ;)
