airbag light, rear seabelt tensioner code
 

HI-this is my first post here. I have an '03 that has the SRS light lit up. The dealer says that the codeindicates the rear seatbelt tensioner is the cause. The airbags have not been deployed. What's the fix for this? The dealer says they can't just clear the code because it will come on again. Can't they just reprogram the computer?

If the code won't clear a new seatbelt will be needed.
