Best replacement ETM for S80 T6
 

Need to replace the ETM (confirmed by Vida) in my 2004 S80 T6. Best replacement part & source? Do I need a software upgrade? If so how do I do that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, You may either purchase new or used. As far the upgrade concern, if you purchase the exact ETM which should be similar to your last ETM serial number then you do not need upgrade.

Remember ground off the battery before installing the new ETM.

But once I started to do it myself...You have to unbolt the DIP Stick and remove MAF Pipe from down of the ETM....then it will take less then 45 mins to finish the job.

By the way while doing it, clean your PCV Pipes as well.....it will help you lot ;) they get easily clogged.
