Just a light bulb is blown. Most often its the tail lights. There are two bulbs in normal driving mode that are illuminated plus a side bulb. Check both sides and see which one is blown.

I don't think a blown bulb is anything to be concerned with.

On my 2000 S80 at times the bulb does not make good contact when installed and have intermittent failure. Move the bulb a bit and see if it comes on or simply look at it for broken filament.

The wifes car has been a constant drain on our endurance. Rear bulbs continually lose contact. I've cleaned and scraped the surfaces several times and am next going for a solvent then a conductive grease. That plus just ahead of the left rear light cluster is a group of related relays that are having conductivity issues as well. I'll have to pull them soon to clean them up too. And with all the lights on all the time I've had to replace every bulb at least once a year.:(
