A/C
Hey,
I was using my Air Conditioner in the Parking lot..I turned it on to setting one, You can feel the A/C unit vibrate alot...It seems to be fine, then the next minute vibrate alot and make a noise, then the next minute vibrate....this goes on and off....Is this suppose to happen? Or is my a/c unit going bad? I havnt tried it while driving around yet ... |
RE: A/C
I noticed with mine that if I have the recirculate option activated, it vibrates. But, when I don't have that on, it doesn't seem to make any noise. I am pretty sure that it didn't always act that way, so I would be interested in finding out what the cause might be. Maybe just a flap not closing all that way due to age?

RE: A/C
thanks ill give that a try today...
heh im not to familar with ac's... |
RE: A/C
Also if you have the Fan setting low with the A/C on you might feel the compressor cycling.

RE: A/C
YES its on low when the vibrations happen, but is it supppose to happen that often?Like every 20 seconds?
|
RE: A/C
The compressor cycles from Low pressure/Cold temp.
They are designed to do this to prevent the Evaperator from Freezing. Turn the Fan speed up to about 1/2 and it will take longer to cycle. |
