Have someone check the connection of the O2 sensor. Maybe loose or dirty.

heating element in post cat sensor bank 1 is bad. it is an electronic malfunction. will not effect the drivability of vehicle but light will stay on and bug u and if something else goes bad you possibly wont know. just get a sensor from the dealer.. to many problems with aftermarket oxygen sensors. they are very vague about wire colors and the splices. and more than likely they are close to the same price as a dealer one...

Thanks for the reply, please forgive my ignorance, could you please elaborate a bit, I'm understanding that there is aheating element in the 02sensor that is badtherefore thissame02 sensor is defective. What specifically do I need to ask for at the dealer or are these 02 sensors the same (appears there are more then one)? And is this something that I may be able to do myself?

Thanks

just tell them what your codes read.. bank 1 sensor 2... and i havent done an oxygen sensor on this car but if you can get under it and have a 7/8 wrench the post cat sensor should be easy
