Crank, No Start After Removing Battery

Hello all. I have a 00 Volvo S80 T6. The biggest issue right now is it won't start after I removed the battery and charged it over night at 2 amps. I put the battey in today, and it cranks very strong, but will not start. It started without issues before the battey died.

I have tried the following:
- Unlock the drivers door with the key.
- Unlock all doors with the key.
- Disconnected the battey, placed the ignition switch in the 2 position, connected the battey.
- Cycle the ignition switch on and off 3-4 times.
- Placed one key out of the car, cranked car with other key.

Car still will not start. As far as I can tell, both keys are master keys (no valet). Any other suggestions? I read that the alarm module battery being bad could cause this, but it started before the car battery died.

Well, I got it started. I ended up removing both battery cables, touching the cables together for 5+ seconds, reconnecting the battery, locking and unlocking the driver's door with the key 5 times, placing ONE key (other key was 7' away) in the ignition, waiting for a second or two, then it fired right up. Did the door lock and ignition with the other key, an both keys now work to start the car.

Sounds better than the other suggestion to smack it on the side and say eehhhhh, like the fonze. My wife's 99 has begun doing something similar. I will bookmark this suggestion.
