DIY cold air intake on the S80, can it be done?
I just was wondering if it was possible to fabricate up a custom cold air intake with misc. parts from pep boys. The thing that throws me off about this car is all the odd angles of the plastic piping and also an intake pipe going into it also behind the radiator.
The only problem is the placement of the MAS, and from what I saw there are some electrical plugged into the top of the airbox lid. What are these for and would they prevent me from fabbing up another air shield for a con style filter? Suggestions. I want to do it but not if it's going to throw off another sensor or if it's even feasable. I'd like to pick up mabye a few hp and I'd like to minimize the ackward bends the air has to take to get to the throttle body. Thanks. oh P.S. what parts should I use? |

Yeah but that's for the 850 sedan. I don't think I can transfer over a whole lot from that setup to build one on mine. The tubing and etc. are totally different.
