Your car has gone into limp mode. This means the car has electronically limited the power output to protect itself from further damage probably due to some sort of component failure. You will need to get it to a mechanic and get the codes read so the problem can be diagnosed.

Had same message appear twice, car ran rough when idling.
Both times problem was solved by changing an ignition coil pack.
Coils are about $70 each, there are six of them.I just changed the faulty one, takes about 10 minutes, did it in the driveway.
Both times a Service Emission System light also came on,Probably due to unburnt fuel going out the exhaust tricking the O2 sensors.Once coils were changed lights went out after disconnecting battery.

Hi goprea,
i also have a 1999S80 T6 and have changed a coil pack recently and a few on my other vehicles.
There are 2 ways that i know off, one is link it up to a diagnostic and it will tell you which one is down or
If it is one of your coil packs you will notice that at idle your engine is miss firing take the cover off the engine so you can see the coil packs, start your engine and pull the 1st coil pack off if the engine idles worse than you know this pack is working go through from left to right as soon as you unplug one and it makes no change in engine tone then you know that that one is the faulty one!
It gets a little bit more difficult if more than one has gone but follow the same instructions!
(it's not that often that more than 1 go at the same time.)
Hope that helps
Phil
