RE: faint valve ticking
You can try synthetic oil if not then you might need the oil pan o-rings replaced.

RE: faint valve ticking
what are the oil pan o-rings? why would they make the lifers tick?
oh 1 more thing the driver side 1 touch down goes 1/2 way down then goes back up , and wont go all the way down intot he door like 1/2 inch sticking out, and the passenger side works fine |
RE: faint valve ticking
The oil pan o-rings go between the oil pan and the block. They help with the oil pressure. If you have one that goes bad then you will loose some oil pressure causing the tapping noise.
As for the second quiestion I assume you are talking about the drivers door lock. When you lock it it pops back up? |
RE: faint valve ticking
no the locks work fine, it's the 1touch down, say it's down, and u 1touch it up it goes 3/4 up and goes back down by it's self (it like u stick your arm in there it's the safty kicking on), but why? if u hold it, it will go all the way up, and the window does not go all the way down, it sticks up an inch...

RE: faint valve ticking
One thing you can try to do to fix it.
Hold the window switch going up once it reaches the up most point keep holding it for 10 seconds. Then push and hold it going down and when it gets all the way down hold the switch down for 10 seconds and see if it fixes it. |
