Hi,

I have an 1999 S80 Turbo which keeps stalling. I am under warranty so I went to my dealer to get it fixed several times now and still the same problem keeps coming back. The onboard computer seems to shut down the whole car sudently. This is very very dangerous since last time it happened to me on the highway and I couldn't even move the steering-wheel.

I am not pleased with this car, my borther was going to get the S60 but it seems Volvo is not very reliable from my experience so far.

Did anyone else had or heard of this kind of problem? Can this be fixed?

Most likely there is a fault in one of the control modules and it is shutting down the network.Did they happen to say if there was any codes in the system?
