Groton after market fog lamp vs Dealer OEM
Groton has a replacement fog lamp assemply for my 2002 T6 for $71. The dealer wants $156 for the Volvo part. If they look the same and install the same, I would be happy to save the money and use Groton's part. Any input on differences in ease of installation and appearence would be apprecaited.

I actually scoured ebay when I bought mine and got a pair of used OEM volvo for about $75 or $80, great condition..
|
I wonder if grotton is buyng directly from the manufacturer... Remember, Volvo isn't making those lights. They source those parts from smaller companies to make a car. I would say go with the grotton ones if they are essentially the same!

aye you changing your assembley or are you upgrading the car to fogs.. as far as I know all t6's came with fogs..
Anyway if you are upgrading dont forget the switch and relay.. |
how about this...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VOLVO...Q5fAccessories genuine volvo and works out about the same as groton |
Fog
I have a broken lens on the passenger's side. After shipping and buying a replacement bulb, the dealer is about $30 more than Groton etc.

well if its just one lens, im sure you will pick up a better deal on ebay,
when you say the "Dealer" you mean your dealer or the one I just sent you on ebay? why not email them and ask speficially for the part you need |
