Head gasket set
 

Have a 2006 S80 2.5T. Pretty sure i have the B5254T2 engine. Had the timing belt brake and have now having the cylinder head redone.Need some help on buying a head gasket set for it. See lots of them for sell. Rockauto has 4 selections from Felpro, Victor. Not sure what to buy. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

the engine type is on a sticker on the timing cover and is stamped into the block on the firewall side of #1 to be sure. Google "volvo modular engine wiki" to be sure but assuming you engine has never been swapped, there's also a two digit code in the VIN (position 6-7) is yours 59 (a 5254T2) or a 68 (5254T3)?

Also check to see what FCP Euro sells. IPD and FCP are my two Volvo friendly go to stores...

Thanks for the information. My vin position number is 59. Will check out these stores out. Want to keep this S80 rolling. Really like this car.
