Unique choice of material. Interior will flow better once you change the other interior pieces. Uncertain if I like it for the external mirror caps.

Unique... and as long as you like it...

dude im sorry but why :-( why would you ruin the volvo ?

how many wal-mart shirts did you use up ?
and whats with the blue tape on the headlights - the volvo looks rice and sad !!?!!,
oh and the camera doesnt lie, you know what your volvo is now worth about a half full bag of rotten potatoes lol

I went to a fabric store and bought it, all of the other stuff was peeling off bad and looked like garbage.

Blue tape was put on there while doing some work on my car by my buddy, as a joke, but my lowbeams are messed up so i have to rock highbeams which means the tape actually helps to block some of the light from glaring into peoples eyes until I get the shunt to fix it (which is on its way).

"If you have haters, you're doing something right." I live by that, being unique, and going a steo up from what all the sheltered Volvo guys keep cookie cutting and having the same mods done to your cars as the next guy.

This is my winter mode, mirror caps were done just because I had some extra ones laying around and some extra fabric, rack will come off in the spring when I go back to summer mode and I'll get my 18x8 enkeis back on and maybe pick up some BBS instead. Winter Mode, it's the fun time of the year to try stuff out that won't stay year round.

Experimenting is fun to do, but so is putting stickers on your friends rides. Here's some vinyl wrap I've been playing with:

Hey where did you get that vynal wrap? It looks really nice?

To the OP, what did you use to adhere the cloth to the interior parts.

Ordered it online. It is the Di Noc 3M black carbon. No need for adhesive since it has the 3M control tac already on the material. I would use the 3M 94 adhesion promotor for complex shapes and curves, makes a big difference. Look around for the best price since the prices I have seen are all over the place. 3M 88 or 90 adhesive is recommended for automotive interior work. Better commercial adhesives could also be used if doing the entire interior.

It's... Unique. Not my flavor but as long as you like it, GO FOR IT!

What springs do you have on the car? How much drop is that? That's the EXACT ride height I'm going for. Are those size 60 tires or 65? I'm rocking the factory bottle caps at 215/55/16 looking to fill the fender a bit more. I have yet to see a car with the Eibach springs from IPD that lower 1.2". I don't want the car to look slammed and have a PITA to get over speed bumps, and don't like huge 18" wheels.

JVC 02-13-2010 05:37 PM

Eibach Springs with Monroe Shocks and Struts. 60 series IIRC... it is slammed, speedbumps aren't that bad, you will scrape mudflaps, but thats about it 18" isn't huge, they fit perfectly, 20+ is huge... haha. The bottle cap wheels look kinda... meh... I'd say pick up some 17"s and they'll work a bit better.

you should be able to unplug the battery but make sure after you do that turn your lights on to drain left over charge out of the system. You will be fine then.
