Help address our S80's problems
 

We have a 1999 S80 N/A.

I was able to fix the outside door handle cable issue on the front driver side door.


Now, here are persistent issues:


---LCD screens and radio are dim and difficult to read.


--Radio may or may not work (have to check again)

--ABS, traction control, and check engine lights are on.

--Under the hood in the main fuse box, the two fuses for the ABS system are gone. The issue preventing me from replacing them is that there aren't the sockets for the fuses to contact with (sockets). Basically just a fuse hole.


--The two front windows do not roll down. Upon pulling the door panels off, the v-levers (regulator) that raise the window are bent beyond repair. You can hear the switch clicking but no noise from the motor.

--Moon roof opens but does not tilt.


--The far left LCD screen gives a few service indicators, which off the top of my head I cannot remember.


My question to you S80 guru's is this: What the hell is wrong with the car?

The windows are not a huge issue, as the AC blows COLD, the rear windows work, and the moon roof opens (doesn't tilt).

The screen lights and radio lights, even the radio itself are important.


I'm hunting for other parts as we speak.

I saw on ebay that a guy is selling a window regulator for an S80 and says the same part from the V70 also work on the car.


Can I use the door innards from a 70 series on the S80?


It just so happens I have access to a wrecked S70

Bump it up.

I know the ABS module probably needs to be rebuilt, but that's obvious.
