How much fuel pressure?

Have an '01 S80, 2.9L. The engine won't start, the battery/starter are good as the engine turns over with ease, I've let it crank for as long as 20 seconds. There is sporadic firing of the cylinders but nothing in sequence or together that would normally berequired to get the engine running. It feels as if there isn'tenough fuel getting to the engine. The gastank is full. I used a tire pressure gauge to get a low-tech reading at the fuel rail pressure relief valve, it registered about 15 psi. My questionsare this a legit way to check for fuel pressure and how much pressure should there be?

Im not sure how accurate that would be. But you should be more like 40 to 50 or around there.

Answer: about 60 psi. My mechanic checked the pressure and found it to be just above 60.
